Wood Pellets

Ecostrat’s wood pellets are manufactured from sustainably harvested resources, manufactured to the highest spec and exported by bulk vessel and container to energy markets in the EU and elsewhere.  Our industrial pellets are used for co-firing and premium grade (DIN spec) for household use.

We are also long term raw material suppliers to leading pellet manufacturers in North America like New England Wood Pellet.

Miscanthus Grass and Other Alternative Fuels

Over 17 years of operation, we have dealt with various alternate fuels such as Glycerin, Rice Hulls, and Palm Kernel Shells.  Please inquire for availability.

We are currently working with leading developers of biocrops such as Miscanthus grass to bring innovative new biofuels to market.  With Miscanthus as a fuel source, we can provide a long term line of sight on fuel costs to buyers for over 10 years.  This biocrop has a variety of fascinating characteristics: low moisture, low ash, high yield, perennial, nutrient recycling, pest resistant, sterile, and easy to harvest.  A proprietary genotype of Miscanthus X Giganticus is being grown in 5 test plots across Canada.  Ecostrat is involved in the commercialization of this exciting fuel. Engineered Playground Surfacing

Our engineered playground surfacing is double ground to ensure consistent sizing and manufactured from 100% virgin wood.  Our surfacing is certified by IPEMA and tested regularly to ensure conformity with the industry benchmark. We do not allow any recycled wood.

We are recognized leading suppliers to the top retailers of playground surfacing including Fibar and Soffall.  With six contract manufacturing sites located around the US, and live-bottom trailer dispatched out of one central location, Ecostrat can supply playground surfacing to many locations in North America.
