Placer, Nevada & El Dorado Counties awarded investment-grade BDO Zone ratings
Placer, Nevada, and El Dorado Counties in California have each been awarded investment-grade Bioeconomy Development Opportunity (BDO) Zone ratings, recognizing the strength and reliability of their regional biomass feedstock supply.
The ratings give bio-project developers and investors independent, third-party validation of feedstock availability and supply chain risk, clearing the path for new biomanufacturing investment and plant announcements across the three counties.
BDO Zone ratings are issued following a rigorous assessment of biomass volume, cost, competition, and supply chain risk under the BSCR Standards, giving the bioeconomy a common benchmark for evaluating where to build.
